Rankings:
The Takeaway: One of the most unique courses in the Beehive State with a dramatic opening tee shot and several memorable holes. The front nine is more traditional, while the back is a wild mountain ride. Not a destination course, but worth a visit if you are in the area for a couple of days. Grade C

What to Expect: Cedar Hills is a newer course that opened up as part of a housing community just north of Orem. The course delivers a memorable moment right off the bat with a nearly 200 foot drop off the opening tee box down to the fairway below. Severe elevation changes are the call of the day as the back nine climbs to an elevation nearly a mile high along a steep edge where wayward tee shots will descend to the trouble below. The course features natural looking bunkers with conditions closer to "firm and fast" rather than "plush and manicured" which gives Utah golfers an experience not readily found in the area. Though short in the length, the course offers some great shots to be had and a good variety.
