The Takeaway: A solid offering for a town the size of Brigham City but not among the best muni courses in Utah. A mountainside course with several elevation changes that should be paired with a visit to Maddux Restauarant and purchasing fresh peaches in September. Grade C-

What to Expect: Eagle Mountain is a fun course built at the mouth of Sardine Canyon about 20 minutes north of Ogden, UT. The front nine is built on a hill and features quite a bit of elevation changes and a creek that runs through half of the holes. With the additional ponds on the front nine there ends up being on two holes (5 and 7) that don't feature water hazards. The back nine is much flatter and more forgiving in width, but more challenging in length (300 additional yards). Just over 20 bunkers are found throughout the course with some of them running the entire length of the large greens found on the property.
