What to Expect: A classic Pacific Northwest layout framed by towering firs, Eugene Country Club is additionally characterized by attractive water features, impressive par 3s, and immaculate conditioning. A long time member of various Top 100 lists, the original 1925 H. Chandler Egan layout was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones in 1967 which effectively widened the playing corridors, expanded the greens, and added bunkers. The club has been open since 1899, representing the second oldest country club in Oregon and a beacon in the Beaver State. The club has hosted numerous USGA and NCAA championships and will again be on stage for the 2018 U.S. Senior Amateur. There are soft undulations in the property which help make the course a comfortable walk though carts are also available. In the end, if you like mature tree lined courses that are kept in great shape, then Eugene Country Club should be one of your favorites.
